Welcome to East Cooper Newcomers Club.
We are a friendly and active group of women who love living in the
Charleston area - specifically the East Cooper River areas of
Mt. Pleasant, Daniel Island, Isle of Palms and Sullivan's Island.

will be hosting our monthly coffee.
This event is open to ALL members and is a great time to
reconnect with people you haven't seen in a while.

Play for P.I.N.K. Event

In the spirit of raising awareness and money for Breast Cancer, this year, the East Cooper Newcomers Club and the Dunes West Country Club are teaming up with our community in Mount Pleasant for two fabulous fundraising events!
On Wednesday, October 25th there will be a Play for the Cure 9 hole scramble Golf Tournament and Drink for Pink Party that evening.
This will be a spectacular event with special giveaways, unique games, numerous contests and exciting prizes. Keep in mind the golf tournament is for all players, beginners to experts. It is all about having fun and raising money for a great cause!

Check In & Warm Up
Start the marvelous day by warming up on the driving range or putting green. If you did not purchase your raffle tickets or golf tournament add-ons beforehand you may do so at Check-In (cash or check only).
8:18am Scramble
Ladies 9 hole Golf Tournament & Award Ceremony
Coordinate your foursome and enjoy a beautiful day playing on the Dunes West Country Club’s golf course. Registration must be done online before the cut off date, limited spots available. Various add-on tickets available, for instance miracle putts, mulligans, Play the Pro, and etc., which can be purchased either before the event or at the Check-In Table (cash or check only). 
* Tip: Get your head start on one of the contests, the Foursome with the most pink or coordinated theme will win a prize. Get in the spirit and think PINK!
6:00pm – 9:00pm
Dinner, Drinks, and Raffle
Keeping with the theme, come join us for an exquisite dinner prepared by our fabulous Dunes West Country Club chef and enjoy complimentary PINK drinks! You will not want to miss this event. Have fun mingling with your fellow Play for Pink Ladies, purchase your raffle tickets, and participate in the various games and contests. Winners for the raffles will be announced at 8pm.  Raffle tickets available to purchase before the event or at the dinner (cash or check only).
Raffle Tickets Pricing:
$5 – 1 ticket    $20 – 5 tickets
* Raffle Tickets will be available for purchase before and during the events.
Golf Sponsorships Available:
Many of our sponsors have found this event to be the perfect way to achieve their goals of showing appreciation and giving back to something in our community and to the Breast Cancer Reach Foundation by purchasing a hole sponsorship sign. Each sign will be prominently displayed on one of the available 9 holes of the tournament. In addition, you may show your support and well wishes to your friends and loved ones by purchasing a tribute sign which will be displayed throughout the course and Check-In areas.

Each month, ECNC holds a Coffee for members and guests. Everyone is welcome to enjoy coffee, conversation and fun to learn what's new and happening in your club.  Prospective members enjoy the opportunity of meeting the officers of the club and other new members to learn about East Cooper Newcomers.  There is no charge for this event so please join us at the Dunes West Country Club. Car pooling is encouraged. Bring your potential new member to the coffee! Please RSVP so that we can let Dunes West know how many to expect.

Charleston Symphony Orchestra Wind Quartet
 
ECNC is proud to host Charleston Symphony Orchestra’s Wind Quartet and CSO’s Education Director, Mitsuko Flynn.  The orchestra was founded in 1936 by Maude Winthrop Gibbon and Martha Laurens Patterson. CSO’s mission is to inspire and engage the community through exceptional musical performances and educational programs. This event is open to members and their guests.
 
Take time out of your busy schedule and treat yourself to a morning of exceptional music.
The raffle for September is a $100 gift certificate to Soft Surroundings, a new clothing and decorative home store in Towne Center.

General Luncheon InformationPLEASE READ CAREFULLY
 
Reservations are required for attendance.  Reserve by going to the RSVP link on the home page.  Once you complete the RSVP form, be sure to hit Save/Submit; if you fail to do that, your reservation will be lost.  Once you have successfully completed the process, you will receive an electronic confirmation. 
 
Reservations are required no later than the Friday before the luncheon meeting. All cancelations are also required by the Friday prior to the luncheon meeting. Late cancelations and no shows will be charged. 
 
The price for September's lunch is $20.00 per person. The menu for September is low country boil: shrimp, corn on the cob, smoked sausaage, and potato in a homemade seafood broth. Also available is fried flounder with homemade tartar sauce, Charleston red rice, cole slaw, and hush puppies with honey butter. Key lime pie for dessert. Lunches may be pre-paid on line by clicking on the Pay Online link on the left menu bar of the home page. RSVP AND PAY ONLINE ARE TWO SEPARATE TRANSACTIONS.  RSVP FIRST THEN RETURN TO PAY ONLINE.  Cash and checks are accepted at the door day-of; checks should be made payable to ECNC.
