GUIDELINES FOR HOMEMADE TREATS-TREATS 4 TROOPS:

FAVORITES
Brownies
Bars of any kind, so long as they are not mushy.
(For example, lemon bars do not work)
Soft or chewy cookies- thin crisp ones break in transit!
Anything with chocolate inside such as chocolate chip cookies or bars.

AVOID
Frosting on anything
Whole chocolate bars or candy kisses- they melt. Chocolate in cookies is fine!
Any soft or sticky candy.
Quick breads, pound cakes, etc. - they are too moist and get moldy.

Treats MUST be cut into serving size pieces.  They should NOT be individually wrapped. They may be dropped off on the Wednesday or Thursday before the scheduled Friday packing day so that they can be hard frozen for vacuum sealing on packing day.  (Please check ECNC Calendar for dates.)  The drop-off location for 2018 is at the home of Mary Ellen Badger (see address above).
